Pure, Family-Farmed

Ceremonial Cacao

Real cacao, grown in the lush forests of Central America, farmed by families who have done this for generations.

Welcome to Volcano Spirit Cacao

In a world full of reasons to close our hearts, something that cracks them open is more needed than ever.

Cacao has been doing that for thousands of years. Yet the food industry is replacing it with lab-grown substitutes, additives, and imitations that carry none of the plant's actual components or spirit.

We are on a mission to share real cacao from real farmers, grown in real forests, that's it. Sounds simple, yet in today's world, it's rare.

With every cacao block, you support small-scale farming families who still grow cacao the old way: in forest gardens, without pesticides, by hand, with love and generations of wisdom.

The Hidden Cost of Cheap Chocolate

Big brands have lost the plot.

After spending many years in Guatemala, where cacao has been grown and honored for more than 4,000 years, we believe cacao as we know it in the Western world has drifted far from its original form. With big chocolate brands replacing cacao with lab-grown substitutes, sugar, and artificial flavors, the real tradition of this ancient practice is getting lost.

At the same time, many cacao farmers receive only a small fraction of the final value of the products sold around the world. The people who do the work of cultivating, harvesting, fermenting, and drying the cacao, while keeping the wisdom and tradition alive, are often the ones who benefit the least from its success.

That's why Volcano Spirit Cacao was born, to bring cacao back to its roots.
